About Me

My photo
Stefanie
Brooklyn, New York, United States
French-born and US-based, I am a New York lover an designer. Though I grew up in a tiny village in Normandy, I made my way to NYC 15 years ago where I lived in SoHo until last year. I had been job hopping for years as a photographer and artist assistant, when I decided to go back to school to earn a Bachelor degree in Interior Design at FIT. I graduated in 2008 and the same year I met my husband. Together we moved to a garden apartment in Brooklyn to enjoy a quieter an more natural lifestyle. I care mostly about the sustainability of the things around us. I love studying people and how they perceive and interact with what's around them: on the subway, the streets, in their cubicle...I am not interested in designing more of what we've built already. I want to design with a conscience of what we are doing to the planet and its inhabitants.
